Timna does her private commissioned portraits in oils and drawings in pastels or graphite.

There is an initial meeting to discuss the portrait and to learn more about the sitter. She likes to represent the external in internal world of the sitter in the portrait.
There are approximately two to three sittings, and then the portrait is finished at her studio.
